Join me for a conversation with Caedran Sullivan, a courageous 11th grade English teacher from Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Caedran decided she'd had enough of the ideological push in education in Kanas, so she penned an oped to alert parents to the reality on the inside of their schools. She was not prepared for what happened next...
Sullivan, a 16 year veteran educator, has been featured on Fox News, Fox Business and Newsmax Sharing her story. Caedran sat down to discuss her observations and the atmosphere she says she saw begin to shift in 2016. By 2019 she was required to take mandatory DEI training, and a culture of silence or compliance began to emerge. Caedran's personal education philosophy is truth, beauty and virtue. She was compelled to action when she witnessed the implementation of policy that not only affected the student body, but the educators morale as well.
Check out some of Caedran’s work using her press packet.
Bless you for staying true to your values and principles! Imagine where we would be if more people did what you did?
I had been on the board of a non profit for 15 years. They adopted a DEI protocol for the entire national organization. Ten minutes after I found out about that, I quit the organization and pulled future donations as well. Vote with your feet and your dollars.
