Exactly! And in this case the problem they're perpetuating is hatred, resentment, and the "skills" to take those on the road with "activism."

Scary stuff.

Excellent article. 👏🏻 Glad you included the Kafka Trap part.

From the Piedmont California district quote:

"eradicating opportunity gaps for students who identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC)"

From what I've seen, "eradicating the opportunity gaps" means getting rid of the opportunities altogether. Not enough black ppl in AP courses? Get rid of the courses! Not enough black valedictorians? Get rid of valedictorians! Not enough black people in any program or class? Get rid of it! It is absolutely absurd. It is the equivalent of "if I can't have you, noone can."

You said, "I sure hope there are specific, measurable goals for DEI. I also hope there are transparency and accountability measures in place to ensure they’re being met, and a timeframe within which to achieve them"

This reminds me of Thomas Sowell talking about his government job that made him realize that they were never going to solve the problem that that committee was created for...because they would be solving their way out of their job. That is government, in a nut shell. If they solved problems, they would solve themselves out of a job or out of issues that gets people out to vote for them. So one of my favorite things to note is that the government does not solve problems. They exacerbate the existing problems and create new ones. This will be the outcome of this DEI, CRT, SEL, etc. nonsense. How long until everyone sees it, stops it, and reverses it? A lot of damage will be done before then.
